The Role

You will be part of the Design team, working with the collection teams. You’ll be creating and inputting data into our Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) system, which enables us to track and monitor our styles from the conception of design all the way through to the management of the style being created and produced. You will manage all developments outside of the mainline range, and keep all key stakeholders informed of progress at all times.

You Will

  • Have a strong understanding of our deadlines within our critical path, working alongside our design team as well as the collection strategy team, sourcing, regional offices, and Q&T
  • Be responsible for the inputting and management of data, libraries and design specs as well as initial style creation on our Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) system
  • Manage the development and timings of anything outside of mainline - short order, SMUs, MFOs, injections and any other projects. From development stages through to buys being placed, managing the expectations of when these styles will be buy ready
  • Provide updates as and when required to key stakeholders
  • Set up samples for all sample review meetings with key stakeholders. Attend review meetings to support design and collection strategy following up all actions from these meetings
  • Track samples, giving regular updates of the estimated ex-factory dates, and manage the movements and whereabouts of samples when they arrive. Be the liaison link between the key stakeholders within Merchandising and Sourcing teams, as well as the photo studio and styling teams.
  • Provide on-going administration and upkeep of PLM to reflect business operations
  • Support any PLM training that is needed for new team members within design, CST and other creative teams.
  • Manage all PLM report creation and ensure the reports are sent at key milestones in the critical path to all key stakeholders
  • Manage all data checks weekly and ensure all style choices are continuously checking and updating PLM with BOMs, screenshots, and all design attributes
  • Oversee photo sample management and organisation
  • Work closely with the styling team to ensure critical path dates for GSM styling are input and met
  • Support the design team in the creation of the seasonal colour palettes, ensuring the key colour service provider details and codes are present and correct. Organise sending physical copies, and virtual copies, to our regional offices.
  • Work closely with the regional offices to be the main communication source between them and the design teams, especially at key deadlines in the critical path
  • Process all internal design post and deliveries, and send out all post to suppliers and regional offices
  • Have a basic knowledge of garment construction and an interest to work within the fashion industry
  • Confidently think outside the box, problem solve and find solutions to get the best results
  • Be responsible for supporting design team with administrative tasks and approvals throughout the season
  • Communicate clearly with external suppliers across multiple territories

  • Flexible with the ability to adapt to change
  • High level of accuracy
  • Ideally aware of basic AI and Product Lifecycle Management, but this is not essential
  • A clear communicator with the confidence to approach all levels and functions across our business
  • Level headed and work well under pressure
  • Positive and have a “can do” attitude with the ability to go above and beyond when needed
