The Role

We are building a Digital Experience team for a world class organization

As a User Researcher at Superdry, you make it all make sense. You deal with people, understanding their expectations and experiences. You know how to connect to our user groups and have the skills to understand how we can begin to maximise their experience of Superdry.  And you will be invited to challenge the status quo. We are building out the future not propping up the past.

You are going to start to think about how the next generation of digital solutions works for our customers. You are going to help us plot our future. You are going to answer the who, what, why, where and when questions. You are going to help us reinvent our digital approach to meet the needs that users will have, as well as those they have now.

You will have plenty of autonomy. You will also have support from a DX Manager and the broader Digital Experience Team of UR, UX and UI professionals. You will be responsible for leading projects of your own, playing a full part in prototyping, testing and iterating across web and mobile.

We are seeking a UX Researcher with a focus and passion for improving the customer experience, starting and finishing with the User. Whether you have come to user research from a digital background, or through a psychology route, or from another discipline, we are interested in hearing how you can drive our capability to match our ambitions to deliver a world class experience.

You Will

  • Research opportunities and concepts for users across web and mobile
  • Create user stories and personas
  • Create journey maps
  • Benchmark competitors
  • Oversee our research knowledge bank
  • Support your work with Qual and Quant research techniques
  • Work with UX on user testing sessions (remote and moderated), including employee and guerrilla research
  • Establish Longitudinal study programmes
  • Design screeners to recruit the right user groups
  • Manage user testing sessions
  • Use surveys, designs, prototypes, card sorting, tree-tests, user testing

You Are

  • Someone with good presentation skills
  • Able to work across projects
  • Aware of the importance of data analytics and how to interpret value and insight
  • Experienced with working on applications, both web and mobile
  • Experienced in Ecommerce
  • Experienced in qualitative and quantitative research
  • Experienced with Google Analytics
  • Any previous experience with Content Square, or similar, would be good
