The Role

This role will enable global stock across all dispositions to be reviewed, challenged and optimised with trading teams across all channels to plan and ultimately deliver company budgets to set KPI’s.

You Will

  • Obsess about stock ensuring you have ‘one version’ of the truth to ensure trading teams (Wholesale, Retail and eCom) are challenged to optimise inventory
  • Challenging trading teams on inventory will include wholesale order fulfillment, cancellations, returns, recalls, retentions and all stock dispositions (saleable and unsaleable) to ensure business KPI’s are achieved
  • Ensure inventory is priortised with considerations of margin, customer, and demand variability. Support stock segmentation with key stakeholders
  • Support inventory planning and budget forecasting working cross functionally with Finance, DC and Merchandising
  • Lead territory WSSI management on weekly, monthly and quarterly basis within merchandising, ensuring risks and opportunities highlighted with key stakeholders
  • Manage and control the IWT process in line with KPI’s. You will also support the recalls process to ensure that targets and option level priorities are met
  • Lead the seamless flow of stock from wholesale to retail channels, communicating with key stakeholders ensuring all stock is utilised
  • Optimise clearance deals through planning of recalls alongside Merchandising
  • Proactively manage 1 to 5’s and low stocks considering DC capacity and overall sku counts
  • Support triangle meetings on a weekly basis, reviewing forecasts, highlighting additional workstreams across Retail, Merchandising and the DC
  • Own and maintain inventory reports and dashboards for visibility of inventory, you will also be a stock systems expert in mining data for inventory role ups / analytics
  • Promote a continuous improvement approach within the department always
  • Manage, coach, inspire and develop individuals within the department

  • Able to challenge processes and have high standards of stock management
  • Analytical, competent working with large volumes of data, using this to support decision making

  • Focused on the end goal and driving teams to achieve high level plans
  • Excellent communicator with the ability to influence at all levels
