The Role

Our logistics department supports the business by managing the flow of our amazing product from our suppliers to our customers. We have a complex operation consisting of a global network of consolidation centres and distribution centres that requires expert leadership and strong relationships with our international 3PL and freight partners.

Logistics Manager Continuous Improvement and Project will make a difference at Superdry by managing key change projects within logistics and take operational ownership for the scoping, specification, implementation and hand-over of logistics developments. 


You Will

  • Have worked with operational teams to create specification, tender, and business case documents. 
  • Have successfully presented proposals to senior management for approval and budget sign-off.
  • Have managed the shortlist and selection of suppliers.
  • Have coordinated and prioritised project tasks, managed timelines, maintained project plans, mitigated risks and communicated status to project sponsors, senior management and external stakeholders.
  • Have worked cross functionally to ensure changes are implemented effectively.
  • Have worked with internal and external stakeholders to set and control implementation budgets.
  • Have maintained and updated project business case documentation.
  • Have lead successful implementation meeting timelines, quality and budget requirements.
  • Have worked with project and operational teams to ensure a smooth handover to business-as-usual and documented lessons learned.
  • Actively seek to understand market developments and how developments in technology can be utilised within the supply chain.

You Are

  • Excellent communication skills together with the ability to negotiate and influence parties both within and outside of the business at all levels.  
  • Commercially astute to drive appropriate decision making at contract level and globally. 
  • Excellent IT capabilities and strong Excel ability.
  • Ability to work autonomously whilst retaining regular links with business partners across the globe.
  • Knowledge of the logistics sector and previous experience of dealing with third party contractors.
  • Previous experience in a process development role.
  • Retail sector, wholesale and ecommerce experience, particularly fashion retail is preferred.
  • Takes the function activities and translates into meaningful local key decisions with no/little referral.
  • Focused on delivering results that support a healthy and sustainable business.
  • Builds on ideas, helps unblock issues and ensures they are successful.
  • Understands how your role adds value to the business and our customers.
  • Supports business change and innovation.
  • Delivers key business outcomes through collaborative relationships.
